Sherman College of Chiropractic honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 53rd Lyceum, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds from across the U.S. and abroad. Lyceum is held annually over three days and consists of seminars, special events, and other programs. More than 800 individuals participated in this year’s event, held April 30- May 1-2 on the Sherman campus in Spartanburg. The college is proud to announce that Durie “DD” Humber, D.C., is the 2026 Thom and Betty Gelardi Service Award recipient.

The Virginia Brannon Endowed Memorial Scholarship honors the life and legacy of the late Virginia Brannon, D.C., a distinguished member of Sherman College of Chiropractic’s inaugural Pioneer graduating class of 1976. Established by Dr. Brannon’s family to support deserving Sherman students in perpetuity, this tribute ensures that her passion for chiropractic education and service will benefit future generations.
