Altrusa International District Three has awarded a $500 scholarship to a Sherman College of Chiropractic student.

A new group of interns is now ready to see patients at the Sherman College Chiropractic Health Center, a teaching clinic for senior students in their final stage of internship prior to graduation from the doctor of chiropractic program. Interns celebrated the entrance of the final phase of their chiropractic education recently during a pinning ceremony on the Sherman College campus in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Thirty-eight interns completed the Clinic Challenge Experience (CCX) during the spring 2018 quarter at Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. CCX was designed to help students make a successful transition from classroom to chiropractic internship by sharpening their professional focus, energizing their passion for chiropractic and exposing them to success principles for practice. The ropes course on Sherman College's campus consists of a variety of "challenges by choice" - using ropes, pulleys, walls, platforms, poles - all of which present students with the opportunity to use problem-solving skills and teamwork. Facilitators and teammates encourage participants to face and overcome whatever fears are blocking their ability to accomplish the tasks. The doctor of chiropractic program at Sherman College requires students to complete approximately 4,600 hours (14 quarters) of classroom and laboratory study and also includes an internship in the college's on-campus Chiropractic Health Center.

Sixty students from around the world received the doctor of chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC, at the 132nd Commencement Program on Saturday, December 16, 2017. The commencement address was given by Kevin Power, D.C., assistant professor of clinical sciences and Student Clinic faculty doctor at Sherman College. Jim Dubel, M.S., D.C., of Middletown, NJ, delivered the charge to the graduates. The doctor of chiropractic program at Sherman College requires students to complete approximately 4,600 hours (14 quarters) of classroom and laboratory study and also includes an internship in the college's on-campus Chiropractic Health Center.
